The owner of a small farm in Indiana died after colliding with a tractor-trailer on a rural road in the early hours of Wednesday.
Indian farmer and farmer’s assistant Sajid Khan was traveling southbound on Highway 60 on Interstate 40 when the tractor-tractor he was driving struck the truck he was in, according to a news release from the Indiana State Police.
Khan was airlifted to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m., according to the release.
The truck driver, who has not been identified, was taken into custody.
Police say the tractor driver and a second person were not injured.
The crash is under investigation.
